How Chemical Peels work?

A chemical solution is applied to the face or certain areas on the body, which is left on for a few minutes to penetrate the epidermis and deeper layers, to exfoliate and remodel the skin. We aim to used an Hyaluronic Acid solution to nourish your skin.

How long does the treatment take?

This may vary depending on the type of peel that is best suited for you but typically, they do not take longer than 30 minutes

Peeling will generally start 48-72 hours after your treatment and can last 2-5 days. It is very important not to pick off peeling skin; peeling is minimal and easily controlled with moisturizer. Premature peeling of the skin will result in dry, cracked, raw skin that may develop into hyperpigmentation.

All while depend of different factors! Light chemical peel might be the right choice if you have uneven pigmentation, dryness, acne or fine wrinkling.
This kind of peel removes just the outer layer of skin (epidermis) in a light exfoliation and can result in a healthier glow.
A medium chemical peel removes skin cells from the epidermis and from portions of the upper part of your middle layer of skin (dermis). It’s used to treat wrinkles, acne scars and uneven skin tone.

UV exposure should be limited.
Use SPF 50 every day.
Stop taking supplements and vitamins at least 5 weeks before your appointment.
Avoid waxing, microdermabrasion or any peels at least 2 weeks before your appointment.

You will see results and an improvement in your skin’s condition after just one treatment, however, there is no doubt that you will obtain the best results after a course of the treatment.
Generalized rejuvenation can be achieved in as little a three treatments. However, conditions such as scarring and stretch marks may require a minimum of five treatments. Depending on the condition being targeted, treatments are performed on average every 3-4 weeks.

Ccombining chemical peels and microneedling enhances your

skin inside and out. We recommend that you have a chemical peel first to exfoliate the top layers of your skin, then, 4-6 weeks later, you start your microneedling treatments to boost collagen production in the deeper layers of your skin.
